The TMCF Annual Leadership Institute is the premier recruitment conference for public HBCU students. For the past twelve years, this four-day conference has given talented future leaders a unique professional development experience. A carefully selected group of students are brought together with some of the nation's top executives for leadership training, career management, life skills, development and recruitment opportunities. One of the main components of the Leadership Institute is the Recruitment Fair, where students meet with over 60 companies and government agencies offering job and internship opportunities.Click here to view video

DRESS FOR SUCCESS DVD
Dress for Success is the second installment of the educational Thurgood Marshall College Fund Career Development DVD series, which provides an illustrated introduction on the subject of proper dressing attire in preparation for a job interview. Leadership Institute 2009
The Leadership Institute serves as a springboard as students transition from scholar to the corporate world. Designed to enhance the college experience, more than 600 students participate in workshops that cover a broad scope of interests and majors, meet with Fortune 400 companies’ executives, and gain knowledge on interviewing for jobs, resume-writing and networking.

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, National Basketball Association, and Bacardi Gold have teamed up to provide financial assistance to outstanding male and female African American students. In addition to excelling in the classroom, these individuals are leaders in the community who exemplify the values of volunteerism and service.

2009 Front Row Fashion Show
In 2009, Front Row highlighted emerging and established designers, while paying tribute to trailblazers in the fashion industry with the 2009 Thurgood Marshall Fashion Icon Award. The Award salutes individuals who have influenced style and fashion within the African American community, and who embody the spirit of leadership and commitment to their craft. It is one of the highest recognitions presented annually to honor the legacy of the late Justice Thurgood Marshall.
