HBCU Governance Meeting
April 11-13, 2013

This closed meeting will officially kick-off our 15th Annual Member-Universities Professional Institute (MUPI) and will bring together Presidents/Chancellors from the public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) for a discussion and focus on HBCU Governance. In addition, this year we have also decided to invite a representative from the Board of Trustees to join the discussion around this critical issue that is affecting so many of our schools.

Meeting topics will include:
  • Good Board Governance 
  • The Relationship Between the Board and the President/Chancellor 
  • The Board of Trustees and Crisis Management
The registration fee for participants in the meeting is complimentary and includes:
  • Round-trip travel accommodations to Atlanta, GA 
  • Up to two (2) nights single accommodations at the W Atlanta Midtown (Friday - Sunday) 
  • Meals and receptions during the conference 
  • Access to all workshops and sessions within your track
